Early Life and Career

Mohamed Zidan was born in Cairo, Egypt on December 11, 1981. He began his professional football career with the Egyptian club Zamalek in 2001. After two seasons with Zamalek, he moved to Denmark to play for Midtjylland. In 2005, he joined German club Werder Bremen, where he won the DFB-Pokal in 2009.

International Career

Zidan made his debut for the Egyptian national team in 2004. He was a member of the Egyptian team that won the Africa Cup of Nations in 2006 and 2008. He also represented Egypt at the 2009 FIFA Confederations Cup and the 2010 FIFA World Cup.

Personal Life

Zidan is married and has two children. He is a Muslim and is actively involved in charity work. He is also a vocal supporter of human rights and social justice issues.
