Denmark Euro 2024 squad confirmed: Eriksen included

Denmark will be facing two nations they've never lost to in Group C at Euro 2024.

Christian Eriksen has been named in Denmark's 26-man squad for Euro 2024, despite suffering a cardiac arrest at last summer's tournament.

The Manchester United midfielder collapsed during Denmark's opening game against Finland in Copenhagen, but was resuscitated on the pitch and later fitted with an implantable cardioverter-defibrillator (ICD).

Eriksen has since returned to action for United, and he will be hoping to play a key role for Denmark at Euro 2024.

Denmark will be facing two nations they've never lost to in Group C at Euro 2024. They will open their campaign against Finland in Copenhagen on June 12, before facing Belgium in Copenhagen on June 17 and Russia in Saint Petersburg on June 21.

Denmark will be hoping to improve on their performance at Euro 2020, where they reached the semi-finals before losing to England.
